According to flyers posted at the City Centre Sysco To Go location, the Restaurant Club will open on May 7th. Sysco has yet to divulge information on its intended customer base. The customer sign-up portion of its website seems to lean towards the business side rather than consumers. According to their website, the store will be open 7 days a week, from 7:00 AM-6:00 PM on weekdays, with condensed hours on weekends, closing at 4:00 PM. This limited schedule indicates that this new store will be for professionals. The strategy is the opposite of that of Gordon Restaurant Market, a recent entry into the Houston market, vying for business from both restaurants and families. Another Syco To Go location is currently under construction, in the former Sprouts near the Astrodome.
