Convenience store chain QuikTrip is continuing with its plans to blanket the Houston area in stores, with the opening of two new locations. The stores at 10957 Jones Rd, Houston, TX 77065, and 27820 Kingsland Blvd, Katy, TX 77494 have been under construction for the better part of 2025, and both appear to be very near completion. While QuikTrip has been mum on the opening date, we’ll likely see both of these locations open within the next month. QT has many other stores planned around town, including another in Katy on Morton Ranch near 99, and two in Houston (S. Main at 610, and another on McCarty near I-10). QT is also working on stores in areas further out, like Pasadena and Texas City. While the chain is one of the only food service-based C-stores expanding in Houston, Timewise is working on adding food service to some of its existing locations.
