About a month ago, Advance Auto Parts announced they intended to close 523 locations in response to poor earnings. While the plan is not set to be complete until 2027, HHR has identified six locations soon to close within the Houston area. These stores were part of 16 locations across Texas, which had WARN notices issued last month. The ten other stores are spread across the DFW area. All locations visited by HHR were confirmed to have ongoing liquidation sales. The final closure date of locations has yet to be announced but can likely be expected to be around January.

I went by the Conroe store this afternoon and was told they are not closing… they have a huge commercial counter so I would’ve been very surprised if they shut down.
The employee behind the counter did tell me that their location in town on Hickerson (501 Hickerson St, Conroe, TX 77301) is closing, but it is just a warehouse. Will try to go by there and see what is available for discounts, though!

Good deal. Speaking of good deals, I swung by the warehouse on Hickerson, and they are in full-on closeout mode there. Similar 70%-off deals as advertised at the store pictured above, just with a bit more selection since it is a warehouse location.
